This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on the website apps.rpev.com. Each app has its own privacy policy on the app's page.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external provider (webhoster.de) in Germany. Personal data collected on this website is stored on the provider's servers. The provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. The retention period follows the technical specifications of the provider.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of the website).

4. Cookies and local storage

When you visit the public pages of this website, no cookies are set and no data is stored in your browser's local storage. A technically necessary session cookie is created only in the password-protected admin area, which is intended for the operator only. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

5. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to servers of Google or other font providers is made and no data is transmitted.

6. Audience measurement without cookies

We count page views to see which apps and content are used. We only store the page path, the date and the language of the page as a counter. We store neither IP addresses nor browser identifiers, set no cookies and do not recognise individual visitors. Known search engine and monitoring bots are not counted. No personal data is processed; to the extent this is seen differently, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (interest in developing the offer according to demand).

7. Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form, we store your name, email address, message, the selected app as well as date and language in order to process your request and for follow-up questions. We also send the message to ourselves by email. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (processing your request) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communicating with users of our apps).

To protect against automated abuse we use an invisible form field (honeypot), a time-based check and a limit on requests. For this purpose we briefly store (up to 24 hours) an irreversibly formed hash value of your IP address from which we cannot recover the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No data is passed on to third parties.

We delete your message as soon as it is no longer needed to process your request, at the latest after 12 months.

8. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the message as soon as it is no longer required, at the latest after 12 months, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

9. Links to Google Play and other websites

This website links to Google Play and to rpev.com. Merely visiting our pages does not transmit any data to these providers. Only when you click a link do you leave our website, and the respective provider processes your data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. For Google Play this is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, or Google LLC, USA; see policies.google.com/privacy. Transfers to third countries, in particular the USA, cannot be ruled out.

10. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.

11. Privacy in our apps

Which data an app processes is described in the privacy policy of the respective app. You can reach it from the app's page.

12. Changes to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy when our offer or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
