2. In brief

3. Which data the app stores on your device

This is only information you enter yourself. It includes health data, which belongs to the specially protected categories of data:

4. Storage location and protection

The data is kept in your device's protected app storage, which other apps normally cannot access. It is not backed up to the Google cloud (cloud backup is disabled for the app). When you move to a new phone, Android can transfer the data directly from device to device; nothing is sent to us or to a server. We recommend a screen lock on your device. If you uninstall the app or delete its data in the Android settings, all stored entries are removed.

5. Permissions

6. Export and sharing by you

You can export your readings as PDF or CSV and share them, for example by email to your doctor's office. When you share a file, it leaves your device at your request. We are not responsible for further processing by the recipient or the service you choose.

7. No data is passed on

We do not transmit any data from the app to us, to third parties or to third countries. There are no ads, no user accounts, no analytics or crash reporting services and no cloud connection.

8. Legal basis

Because the data remains exclusively on your device and we have no access to it, we do not process it ourselves. You decide entirely which information you store and can change or delete it at any time. To the extent the GDPR applies to the processing, it is based on your decision to enter the information in the app (Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR).

9. Your rights

You can view, change and delete your data in the app at any time: individual readings via “Delete entry”, profile and medication in the respective fields, all data via the Android settings (App info → Storage → Clear data) or by uninstalling. Because we do not receive any data from the app, we cannot give you information about it; you exercise your rights under Art. 15 ff. GDPR yourself here. For data you give us by other means (for example via the contact form), the website privacy policy applies. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

10. Google Play

When you download the app via Google Play, Google processes data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We do not receive any personal data this way, at most aggregated statistics in the Google Play Console.

11. Important health notice

Blutdruck Tagebuch is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Classifications and statistics are for information only. Discuss abnormal readings or symptoms with your doctor and never change your medication on your own.

12. Target group

The app is intended for adults.

13. Changes

We adapt this policy when the app or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
